Rabbit Magic: Get Up Close and Personal with Snoopy, a Mini-Rex Rabbit

During this program students will get up close and personal with a special Mini-Rex rabbit named Snoopy!

They will:

• observe Snoopy and learn about his diet and adaptations
• Try leaping like a rabbit
• create their own rabbit story

Presenter Claudia Dery is a retired elementary school teacher and naturalist who loves sharing her playfulness and passion for rabbits, stories and fun facts with kids of all ages!

More Info:

• Children will make a “Snoopy Circle” on the floor and will have the opportunity to pet Snoopy when he comes near them. Children will not hold the rabbit during the program.
• Snoopy is “hypoallergenic”, which means petting his fur does not cause an allergic reaction.
• Snoopy was a class rabbit at the Wells Memorial School in Harrisville for 4 years. He has had lots of experience with children and is very comfortable, friendly and curious around them.
• I can adapt the program to match a theme, topic or event.
